Describe what you'll be selling

Vendors are responsible for all permits and licenses required by the state, county and city applicable to the sale of their products.These permits will be required if selected to be a vendor. 

- A current City of Tacoma Business License is required for Processors, Prepared Food Vendors (Ready-to-Eat), and Alcoholic Beverages & anyone who makes more than $2,000 a year in the city of Tacoma

- Vehicle Insurance ID Card(s) covering the vehicle(s) are required for all vehicles driven onto the Marketplace.

- A Tacoma Pierce County Health Department Permit is required if you are sampling food products or selling products that must remain cold such as eggs. A Food Handlers Permit is required if you are sampling food products.

Where Does Your Booth Fee Go?​

Meridian Blocks: 2,500 Per Market

Street Closure: 1,100 Per Market

Restroom & Trash: $1,000 Per Market

Operation fees, material & marketing, decor: $3,300

You will be sent an invoice two weeks before the first market of each month and due one week before the first market of the month.

You may only get approved for some of your dates due to duplicate vendor category

Chose your desired vendor dates.

If your truck is bigger than 20ft you will need a 10X30 space. We have no wiggle room at our market. 

Stall Size. No wiggle room. If your truck is 24ft you need 10X30 stall

If you are a no show, you will not be refunded. & it may count against your account.

I agree to only select dates that I am 100% able to commit to. If you double book markets and cancel a date, it will be a strike on your account. This will hurt your chances of vending in the future & we may take you off of your remaining dates. 

You agree to contact your coordinator immediately via email if you are unable to make a vending date. We do not want to find out the day of on your instagram story. There is a long waitlist that are eager to vend empty stalls. If you do not, you may be removed the remainder of the market.

By checking below you understand that you are not confirmed as a vendor unless you are selected. After you are accepted we will send you an acceptance email & an invoice. We will never ask for a payment in the form of venmo, cashapp, paypal or cash. Avoid scams. Make your payments on time or you might be in risk of losing your stall. If you need more time you must contact your coordinator. via email 

Political propaganda & racism is not allowed at the HFM. Our market is open to all and we do not discriminate against beliefs, race, orientation or views of our customers or fellow vendors. Please treat your fellow vendors with respect. Be careful what you say on social media because that still reflects on us and your business. Going against this agreement could result in termination. 

Add-Ons, Not Required

We get asked a lot about our vendors social media accounts so that customers can shop your products online.  We have observed that most of our vendors aren't showcasing their shop to its full potential. Allowing us to take 15 high quality images will help customers see clear products in flattering images on your website & social media. Having a high quality feed will drive buyers to purchase more often. These photos will be taken during our market.

We think a lot of vendors have an amazing process to creating their products & think it would be awesome to do vendor reels as  spotlights in addition to posting our normal vendor spotlight images. Since we would have to come out to you to film your process, film your booth and edit, we will be charging a small fee for our time. (This will be a collabed post, meaning it will be on both of our instagram accounts. These will usually get you 200-1,000+ new followers & in some cases, go viral.) Subject to approval. Your company has to make sense for the growth of the HFM social media accounts. 

Running a small business can be stressful at times. With managing your write offs, paying quarterly taxes, creating P&Ls & preparing for tax season. Let us recommend to you a great small business book keeper that will work with your income.
